Show Your Gratitude

Titus 3:2  Be peaceable and considerate, and always be gentle towards everyone.

Research has shown that gratitude comes with a host of benefits.  It improves heart rhythm, reduces stress, and helps you heal physically and think more clearly under pressure.  Being thankful floods your brain with endorphins that strengthen and rejuvenate you.  And like any muscle, the more you exercise it the stronger it grows.

Try this exercise.  When you sit down for a meal together, have everyone share something they are thankful for.

Here are a few other suggestions:  Buy some National Day of Thanks Mini Thank You cards  and keep them in your wallet or purse, so you can give them to people who help you or serve you as you go about your daily activities.

The CEO of Campbell Soups sent over sixteen thousand thank you notes to his employees, and energised his entire company in the process.

What about appreciating someone who is lonely or depressed?  It only takes a few words and kind smile.   The Bible says,  Be peaceable and considerate.
